The way that we move our bodies reveals an embodied truth, a truth about who we are, how we experience the world, how we got here, and even which direction we want to go. How we dance, eat, sing, smile, laugh, etc. all reveal the intricacies of our relationship to ourselves and the environments that we inhabit. As a somatic psychotherapist, I find that with careful awareness of our movements a clear understanding of our needs, wants, and desires can develop. This can be a very liberating experience.
